Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Discovering independence with supported independent living.

  • Supported independent living is a type of support to help you live independently in your home.

    It is for people with a disability who have higher support needs, who need some level of help at home all the time. Supported independent living provides support throughout the day, 7 days a week, and includes overnight support.

  • In order to be eligible for SIL funding, you need to request home and living supports by completing a change of details or situation form which can be found on the NDIS website. You will also need to complete the support evidence form to provide more information about your support needs.

    Our team is here to help you apply for SIL funding - at no cost to you.

    • JaeMan Support is a registered NDIS provider, servicing both Melbourne and Sydney.

    • We provide support centred around your individual wants and needs, ensuring you have your say during every step of the process.

    • Our support team works with you to create a personalised support plan which will enhance your ability to live independently, and empower you to reach your goals.

    • Your support team will be available to you 7 days a week to ensure you are well-supported.

    • JaeMan Support will also assist you with:

      • Household chores

      • Active/inactive overnight support

      • Medication

      • Shopping

      • Cooking

      • Garden maintenance

      • Transport to and from appointments & activities

      • Participating in community activities

      • Social support
